Required:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent required
• PSW Certificate required
• Previous experience in a health-related setting required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required
• Tact, discretion and team skills required
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history is a requirement
• Experience in an Acute Care, Med/Surg, Complex Continuing Care setting and/or Long-Term Care setting preferred
• Knowledge of Patient Bill of Rights an asset
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification an asset
• GPA or equivalent training an asset
• UFirst Training an asset
• Bilingual - English and French an asset

Hours of Work: Permanent Part Time, scheduled up to 24 hours a week. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the SEIU collective agreement.

Salary: $26.34 - $26.91 an hour
