Leads the Farm to Paw store and team in day to Day activities and customer relations. Recruits, coaches and assists Community Builders on products, customer service, policies and procedures. Works with Owner, Team Leader
Marketing and Merchandising Manager to ensure the consistent growth of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Management Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and screening applicants for Community Builder positions
  • Onboard and Train Community Builders
  • Schedule Community Builders & Send reviewed hours to payroll
  • Ensures tasks requested by management are completed
  • Supports team members by answering questions and problem solving
  • Coordinate team tasks and ensures competition and accuracy
  • Ensures general organization and cleanliness of the store
  • Provides regular feedback to community builders and schedules and holds annual formal performance reviews
  • Works to create and atmosphere of teamwork within the store and across the other outlets
  • Communicates with the team regarding new products, promotions, events and general going ons with the store.
  • Has a strong understanding of stores policies and procedures and ensures team members are following

Products, Merchandising and Customer Relations:

  • Ensures products are shelved when they are received
  • Ensures customer special orders are coordinated and communicated.
  • Reviews and checks frequent buyer
  • Works with Marketing and Merchandising manager to ensure products are well merchandised
  • Receives product orders and checks against Vend order and Vendor Documentation.
  • Creates transfers of product going to other locations
  • Receives transfers of product coming from other locations
  • Creates vendor orders for some repeat products.
  • Customer Returns are documented well and communicated to ensure enough information is collected to allow for vendor return
  • Assists Product Coordinator/Barb when required on special projects

General

  • Purchasing of General Store suppliesWork as a team player communicating with rest of Management Team
  • May be required to attend special events or trade shows
  • Acts as a community Builder
  • Completes weekly petty cash report and sends to Barb
  • Completes weekly general inventory report and orders accordingly
  • Manages Coin and Cash at location and communicates directly with Barb regarding any requirements
  • Ensures dailies are being completed and delivered to the product manager on a weekly basis
  • Works with Management Team to constantly look for better ways of working and implements with team when required
  • On a rotation to be Manager on call for Weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
