For three decades, Gemm Diesel Ltd. has been serving the Shuswap and Okanagan with commercial transport vehicle parts and services. With a commitment to quality, Gemm Diesel operates full-service facilities in Kelowna and Salmon Arm and specializes in Volvo, Mack, Hino and Cummins.
We are looking for a Shipper-Receiver-Driver for our Kelowna location.
This position is responsible for receiving stock; picking, packing and shipping orders to our broad customer base; making local deliveries and supporting inventory. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable with technology, and has a great attitude.

We’re looking for someone that:
- Works well independently and is a motivated-self-starter;
- Has experience shipping, receiving and warehousing and/or relevant experience using a computer purchasing/order system;
- Demonstrates accuracy and pride in their work;
- Is committed to working safely;
- Has a valid BC drivers license and a clean driving record;
- Has an interest in keeping work areas clean and organized; and
- An interest in contributing to a family-oriented, team environment.
This position can be physically demanding and requires the ability to lift, carry and push up to 75 lbs. A forklift certificate is preferred. Previous experience in shipping and/or forklift is an asset, but is not required and training will be provided.
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, with the requirement to work some Saturdays.
