Governance Consultant
Salary between £22,000 - £28,000

Are you a Senior Administrator or Executive Assistant or do you currently work in a Governance related role?

If the answer is yes, this role could be ideal for you! We are currently seeking a Governance Consultant to be a part of the Finance Management team and to support with the effective tracking of actions and decisions made as well as the production of your own reports and summary papers. The team will always be around to give a helping hand, as you will be supported by the wider Finance Governance team, therefore a background in finance or governance isn’t required.

A bit about the job:
This role is a fantastic opportunity to provide you with the prospect to build your governance knowledge while using your strengths. Your key responsibility will be ensuring the key finance decision making meetings are scheduled and carried out with professionalism and the right materials to make the timely decisions. Along with scheduling meetings, managing agendas, ensuring timely delivery of papers and checking those papers meet the appropriate quality threshold.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Willing to challenge senior leaders to meet governance standards
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word) and strong communication skills
  • Support individuals to develop their report writing skills to the appropriate standard
  • Open to learning new skills and undertake different activities within the Governance team

  • Salary between £22,000 - £28,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
