Position Title: Sales Administrator

Work Location: Calgary, Alberta

Department: Sales and Business Development

Title of Manager this position reports to: Director, Product & Customer Strategy

Work Rotation (if applicable): 5 days on, 2 days off

Workdays/Hours: 8 hours per day with ½ unpaid lunch

Purpose of Role: Support a variety of administrative activities related to sales and business development initiatives, ranging from complex to routine data entry, sales proposal development and supporting the pricing approval process. In addition, assist with social media communications while supporting all aspects of the Sales department.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide wide range of administrative and communications support to Director, Product and Customer Strategy and the Sales & Business Development team.

 Support and coordinate the pricing approval process (end-to-end from quote request through to approval) including price data management and the creation and distribution of price quote approval documents and standard price lists.

 Manage the customer pricing matrix in Tiger’s ERP system which will include maintaining, editing, and updating tables as required as well as acting as an intermediary between Pricing, Sales and Finance.

 Support the RFP response process including development, review, edit and compilation of bid response proposals as well as other sales or corporate proposals.

 Administration related to maintenance of existing or new customer contracts and agreements.

 Support the creation, development and maintenance of new and existing sales and marketing documents, materials and communications.

 Assist with execution of Tiger’s social media strategy including posting approved content and maintaining presence on identified social media platforms and supporting administration of Tiger Calcium’s website.

 Identify improvements to existing business processes and systems and assist in the development of acceptable solutions.

 Respond to inbound phone and email inquiries with general information or referring inquiries to appropriate sources.

 Lead or assist with organizing meetings and corporate events, including contacting participants, booking rooms, ordering refreshments and, making travel arrangements, as required.

 Comply with and participate in the Tiger’s Safety Management programs and initiatives.

 Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

 Formal education or demonstrated experience in a sales administration role.

 Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a sales environment is required.

 Exceptional administrative skills, accuracy with numbers and executing tasks with high attention to detail.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization.

 Excellent computer skills with intermediate level of proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.

 Familiarity with ERP/CRM is an asset.

 Self-motivated and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.

 Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills with proven experience in effectively managing competing priorities and responsibilities.

 Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to exercise independent judgment.

 Experience in supporting RFP response process is an asset.

 Experience administering social media communications is an asset.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Requirements: Some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

Working Conditions: Office environment. Long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
