New Found Gold is advancing its 100% owned 1,662km2 Queensway gold project, located on the Trans-Canada highway 15km west of Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador. A 500,000m drill campaign is underway. Drilling is focused on a 9.5km corridor along the Appleton fault and a 12.4km corridor along the JBP fault. The Company is well financed with current capital balance over $60M.

New Found has growing list of high-grade gold discoveries along the Appleton Fault Zone that make up the “AFZ Mineralized Envelope” that now includes Keats, Keats North, Cokes, Iceberg, Keats West, Road, Golden Joint, Dome, Lotto, Monte Carlo, Lotto North, Zone 36, K2, and Everest. The Company is aggressively drilling at Queensway North to further unlock discovery potential, while work is also underway to define additional drill targets on approximately 70km of prospective strike along the Appleton and JBP fault structures on the southern portion of the Queensway property.

Job Description: Resource Modeler

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Resource Modeler to join our exploration and mine development team. This unique role combines geological modeling, resource estimation, and commercial analysis to support our exploration efforts. Your expertise in nuggety gold deposits will be instrumental in defining resource and ultimately reserves. Your proficiency in multiple disciplines will be essential in optimizing planning for gold mining and maximizing project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

· Geological Modeling: Working with our exploration team to develop and refine accurate 3D geological models of nuggety gold deposits using advanced geological and geostatistical software. Incorporate knowledge of nuggety gold behavior and spatial variability into the modeling process to capture the complex nature of gold distribution.

· Resource Estimation: Apply specialized geostatistical techniques and methodologies to estimate gold resources in nuggety deposits. Evaluate and interpret geological data, including drill hole assay results, geochemical, structural, and geophysical data, to determine the quality, quantity, and distribution of gold mineralization.

· Mine Engineering Integration: Collaborate closely with mine engineers and design teams to incorporate mine planning, sequencing, constraints, and operational considerations into resource models. Ensure that resource models align with engineering parameters and can be feasibly developed and extracted.

· Commercial Evaluation: Participate in comprehensive economic evaluations of gold deposits, considering factors such as gold price forecasts, production costs, capital expenditures, revenue projections, and market analysis. Assist in the development of financial models to assess the economic viability and profitability of mining projects.

· Data Analysis: Review and validate geological and assay data, ensuring data integrity and quality control. Conduct statistical analysis and perform geostatistical evaluations to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within the data.

· Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with geologists, mine engineers, design teams, financial analysts, and stakeholders and incorporate their input into resource models. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, presenting complex technical and commercial concepts in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in written reports and presentations.

· Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, technical memos, and presentations summarizing geological models, resource estimates, and key findings. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of modeling methodologies, assumptions, and parameters used.

· Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the modeling process. Propose and implement innovative approaches, workflows, and tools to enhance resource estimation and exploration targeting.

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field.

· Extensive experience in geological modeling, resource estimation, and commercial evaluation within nuggety gold deposits.

· Proficiency in advanced geological modeling and geostatistical software.

· Strong knowledge of geological concepts, gold deposit types, nuggety gold behavior, and exploration.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

· Solid understanding of geological data collection, validation, and quality control processes.

· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with complex datasets.

· Knowledge of mining regulations, industry standards, and reporting codes (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101).

· Registered Professional Geologist or Engineer (or eligible to register).
