Acara Solutions is looking for an Health Care Assistant for our Client located in Osoyoos, BC.
- The health care assistant will assist physicians and nurses with patient care and administrative duties.
- Will maintain exam room equipment, space, and sanitize for patients.
- The health care assistant will perform administrative duties such as scheduling patient appointments, cancellations, and updating records as well as take patient information, record documentation, and monitor patient vital signs.
- Scheduling patient appointments, cancellations, and updating records
- Verifying patient identity
- Monitoring and taking patient vital signs and heart rate as needed
- Entering patient information into a database
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitary needs of space
- Maintaining records and documentation
- Ensuring patient confidentiality
- Recording patients" conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, and weight
- Assisting with clinical duties
- Checking and ordering inventory supplies; maintaining office equipment, ordering replacement supplies as needed
- Preparing correspondence, documentation
- Working as a vital part of a team of medical professionals
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.50-$26.67 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
