Job Description:
If you can empathize with parents, identify a student’s learning needs, develop tutoring plans and earn while you do it, this is for you!

The Education Consultant conducts and closes initial consultations with new clients, determines prospective clients’ needs and establishes tutoring goals. At the consultation you will take students and/or parents through our customized 7 step consultation process to identify their needs The EC onboards the new client at the end of the consultation and passes on accurate information to the operations team to enable a good tutor-match. Targets will be assigned and training will be offered to help the EC achieve the targets.

Consultants frequently interact with children, so a friendly, outgoing manner is desirable. If you are enthusiastic, motivated, sales oriented and reliable and you would enjoy working with students of all ages, we would like to hear from you.

Other Details:
Consultations are currently taking place in-person. They usually take place Mon- Fri between 2pm and 7pm. Timings are flexible, depending on the EC’s availability. Compensation is per consultation with additional commissions as incentives, with potential to earn between $80 - $300 per consultation

Other Responsibilities may also include but are not limited to:

• Generate leads for new business
• Participate in local family orientated events
• Conduct consultation with family & enroll new students
• Market & build brand awareness for Tutor Doctor

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to build rapport and trust with families of diverse backgrounds, including children
• Ability to breakdown information and details in a clear and simplified way
• 1-2 years sales experience
• Proven sales closing results
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Microsoft Office intermediate skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong organization, planning and follow-up skills
• Self-starter; results-oriented, assertive and energetic
• Work well alone, as-well-as in team environment
• Own transportation
• Willing to travel locally
• Willing to work some evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of the Ontario Education Curriculum is an asset but not a requirement

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $160.00-$600.00 per day

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
