We have recently renovated our warehouse operations and are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Team in the key role of:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

The preferred candidate will have:

• Demonstrated commitment to promoting a safe working environment,
• A post-secondary education in a technical or business related discipline along with 3- 5 years related experience is preferred,
• Previous experience supervising shipping and receiving activities in a warehouse operation,
• Previous experience with shipping to both international and domestic markets,
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software and ERP software,
• Experience with a variety of shipping methods including flat bed and container,
• Familiarity with an organization serving International customers is an asset.

The position responsibilities include:

• Ensure all work is performed safe manner,
• Prioritize work for 8 warehouse persons,
• Ensure all work orders are picked and completed in a timely manner,
• Work with purchasers on material discrepancies,
• Coordinate picking and packing of customer parts orders,
• Assist the manufacturing with parts issues and ensure inventory is issued to work orders,
• Works with accounting, customer service and manufacturing to coordinate shipments as payment is received and equipment is produced,
• Supervise loading of trucks and containers to ensure a safe and secure shipment,
• Complete NCR’s for purchased parts that do not pass warehouse inspection process,
• Completes inventory location changes for inventory items,
• Ensure cycle count is completed according to the SOX procedures,
• Act as a point person for all Code 1 parts shipments,
• Sign off on timesheets for all hourly warehouse employees,
• Maintain work area to ensure warehouse is kept in an orderly state,
• Maintain production update reports daily,
• Ensure employees are trained appropriately on tasks being completed,
• Complete performance appraisals semi annually.
