Shift is fulltime 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Picks stock from zone locations (upper and main levels) to complete orders for customers
- Confirms number of items picked into inventory system using a handheld device
- Builds skids to be sent to customers
- Packs orders for customers safely and securely
- Ensures accuracy in pack quantities and item descriptions
- Labels product
- Places product in appropriate bin / cart / skid
- Communicates daily progress to Warehouse Managers
- Observes safety regulations i.e. working in a safe manner and wearing the required safety attire at all times
- Adheres to WHMIS/GHS standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma/GED
- WHMIS / GHS and Safe Lifting knowledge is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail skills (product description matching)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Regularly lift/move objects that range from 10-55 lbs
- Frequent walking, crouching, climbing, carrying, standing, pushing and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly
- Capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
