Intent of the process

Accounting Operations has an immediate need to staff four (4) FI-02 positions. Please note that these positions are located in Fredericton (NB) and will require a physical presence at the office on a regular basis (for example: 2 to 3 days per week). This selection process will also serve to establish a list of qualified candidates that may be used in the future to staff similar positions on a permanent or temporary basis (term, acting, assignment, secondment).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing financial advice and guidance to managers
Experience in analyzing and challenging financial data and reporting
Experience using financial management system and reporting tools i.e. Oracle or SAP.
Experience in researching, writing briefing materials, presentations and reports for managers.
Experience in at least 1 of the following functions; Financial management advisory, corporate/cost/capital asset accounting, internal controls, financial audit, accounting operations.

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Practices and Standards

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Asset Experience
Experience in participating or leading cross-functional working groups to address complex financial issues
Experience working in an operational program, a region or in a matrix organization
Experience in supervising personnel
