VACATION HOME ATTENDANT

Outback Lakeside Vacation Homes is set on 60 pristine mountain acres twenty minutes from the town of Vernon, British Columbia, our exclusive collection of designer homes, villas and cabins offers the perfect opportunity for guests to disconnect from everyday bustle and distractions and reconnect with each other.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strip vacant homes of bedding, towels, garbage etc.
  • Clean vacation homes as allocated achieving exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
  • Replenish room supplies including toiletries, linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Use and store correctly, all cleaning agents, materials, equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions
  • Inspect condition of all room furnishings, draperies, kitchen wares, etc.
  • Report all damages and/or maintenance requirements.
  • Report all lost and found items following Resort procedures.
  • Return and restock carts at the end of shift.
  • Carryout deep cleaning as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work independently, or team environment.
  • Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Able to stand for an extended period of time.
  • Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Wage: $21.00 per hour Including summer incentive bonus.

Schedule: Part Time - including weekends and holidays
