Trip Leader Whitewater Paddle Raft Guide Job at Chilliwack River Rafting

To trip lead the person will need a min of 3 years professional paddle raft work experience, a full drivers license ( Class 2) training is available. They will be responsible to supervise 3 to 20 guides on both the Chilliwack Classic Trip ( moderate) and the Chilliwack Canyon ( Continuous class 3/4) They will be a fit strong swimmer, have a min of two weeks first aid training and current certification. To safety kayak they would need to be a confident class 2-3 kayaker to work on the Classic Trip and a confident class 3-4 kayaker to work on the Canyon trip.
The trip leader will ensure guides read and understand the current information in the staff communication log and implement the written job description for on river operations. ( Unless they have done so already they will have to take part in on river familiarization of the Chilliwack River during one of our guide training schools)
Rustic accomodation or campsite use at nominal cost may be available to those who need to relocate to Chilliwack.
Opportunities will be made for persons with most of these qualifications to meet these requirments.
