Epson, a global technology leader with a long history of innovative technology, award winning products and industry leading performance, has an exciting opportunity for a top notch and highly motivated Assistant Manager, Canada Marketing. This position will be based out of our Markham office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only six days per month.


This individual is responsible for the development and implementation of B2C integrated marketing strategies and programs that support Epson Canada’s business goals and objectives. They are responsible for creating awareness, demand, and preference of Epson’s portfolio of Consumer products, through Advertising, Social, and PR campaigns and programs.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Work with Epson America teams to align Canadian initiatives with North American marketing strategies and programs, adjusting for Canadian market conditions, channels, and customers.
  • Collaborate with Canadian Sales teams to ensure investment strategies and marketing communication programs support regional growth goals.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers
  • Manage Advertising, Social, Influencer, and PR campaigns and programs.
  • Report on KPI’s and ROI and ensure optimization of campaigns. Adjust plans to ensure the most effective and efficient use of marketing funds.
  • Provide direction to the U.S. teams on localization of marketing content to meet levels required by Canadian law.
  • Manage marketing budgets, including forecasting and accruals, adjusting for fluctuating exchange rates.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • University or college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or advertising.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Marketing, Advertising or Communications role
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian market, consumer, and communication channels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and energy to champion new Canadian opportunities
  • Strong collaboration, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to do some traveling to the U.S.
