Responsibilities:

  • Attend to the geographically and customer defined sales territory and report to management as required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
  • Responsible for managing inventory levels across the region.
  • Negotiate with manufactures to ensure optimal purchase pricing.
  • Analyze and maintain competitive market sell pricing on all tool lines.
  • Maintain attractive and appealing showroom displays.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
  • Travel throughout Northern Saskatchewan region to educate/train all sales staff on new products and promotions.
  • Plan/execute “Tool Days” in Saskatoon.
  • Coordinate tool events in satellite branches, providing support to satellite branch managers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ sales experience required
  • Experience with marketing/promoting tools would be an asset.
  • Must have a genuine passion and love for tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Creative team player.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Able to travel and attend sales events, exhibits or training.
  • Valid drivers’ license
