General Information:
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the casual Bowling Alley Relief Opportunity in the Cowichan Lake Recreation Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Manager, Cowichan Lake Recreation and receiving direction from the Recreation Programmer II or Program Assistant III the Bowling Alley Relief is responsible for the effective operation of the bowling alley in the absence of the Program Assistant III.
Qualifications:- Secondary school graduation or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Experience with all aspects of bowling is preferred

Experience with customer service

Experience with processing cash transactions, reconciliations, and operating interac and cash machines

First Aid Level 1 with CPR

Food Safe Level I certificate

Serving It Right certificate

Hours of Work:
This casual opportunity had no guaranteed hours of work. Hours of work include a flexible variety of shifts including days and evenings on weekdays and weekends, based on operational need.
Salary:
This non-union opportunity has a starting wage of $24.45 per hour (which is $20.86 per hour plus an additional 6% pay in lieu of benefits, 6% pay in lieu of vacation and 5.2% pay in lieu of statutory holidays), as per the CVRD non-union wage scale.
