Accountable for managing cross-functional teams to ensure the planning and execution of the workflow and resourcing at a project and day to day level for the LBL Design studio. Project oversight to studio workflow ensuring consistent and timely execution across the studio at all times. This role would identify opportunities as they come up in the process and would manage these with the Senior Studio Manager for prioritization and execution planning.
Project Management
  • Attend Product priority meetings to advise and align on studio timelines upstream.
  • Assist and advise on resources for studio projects from Kickoff through finalization of Packaging Design to printer.
  • Manage prioritization of project workflow on a day-to-day and project oversight basis.
  • Facilitate and advise priorities to all studio teams daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Ensure team members are held accountable for workflow outputs and communicate concerns where necessary to stakeholders.
  • Real time process and timing decision making on behalf of the project team to align to project commitments.
  • Negotiation of daily priorities within workstreams to help ensure momentum of project workflow.
  • Identifying resourcing constraints and making decisions to help optimize current or new resources.
Resourcing Oversight and Management
  • Provide direction to teams to help them manage the process and leverage the appropriate resource(s) for support.
  • Collaborate with Studio Management team to leverage the right people at the right time to deliver projects.
Cross functional team partnership and relationship building and sustainment
  • Assist the team in communication to all cross functional teams to ensure timeliness and delivery of studio project milestones.
  • Assist the Kickoff meeting in partnership with the Product Managers.
  • Assist conflicting timelines and priorities between internal teams. Escalate as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to manage resource workflow and allocations
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Background in Business Operations considered asset
  • Understanding financials; and manage resource budgets
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
  • Passion for project governance, performance results, and solution-based thinking is required.
  • Strong background in building relationships and team.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting purposes is an asset.
