Atlas Sign & Awning Company is hiring an experienced Sign Installer to join our established team in Langley, BC.

Atlas Sign & Awning has been manufacturing and installing signage for over 27 years. We are located in the Gloucester Industrial Park in Langley, BC. We manufacture signs & awnings for large companies that have multiple locations and high-end specifications. Most of our employees have been with Atlas for over 10 years and we are wanting to grow this team with the right candidate.

Daily responsibilities & Safety:

- Full time (M-F)

- Follow site & company’s safety policies & procedures

- Perform on site Hazzard Assessments

- measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation of various types of signage and awnings including channel letters, pylon, fascia & thermoformed signs.

- Install, repair and service interior or exterior prefabricated products

- Use of various equipment, machinery, and hand tools

- Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

- Experience in interacting directly with clients and other trades; professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills

- Some in shop fabrication may be required

- Out of town trips may be required

Knowledge, Skills & Requirements:

- Valid BC Driver’s license

- Lift 50 + lbs.

- Reliable transportation to work

- Proof of vaccination (some sites require)

- Strong verbal & written communication

- Work from heights (ladders & lifts)

- Electrical/ Crane Safety/OFA/Fall Arrest/ Suspended Power Platform/Areal lift/WHMIS Certifications. Having these are an asset but we are willing to train & certify the right person
