Position Summary

This Shipping & Receiving/Driver position will start in the shipping and receiving department to become familiar with the product and processes while working towards an Inside Sales Representative/Parts Person role in our Grande Prairie, Alberta branch.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receiving and recording of incoming parts stock orders and accurately warehousing
• Picking and packaging of parts orders for shipping to customers
• Pick up & delivery of product in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas
• Drive the company half-ton truck in a cautious and responsible manner
• Responsible for keeping company vehicle clean and in good repair
• Maintain friendly, courteous communications with customers keeping them updated regarding the status of their deliveries

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-Starter who takes the initiative to get things done
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Confident and positive demeanor
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Some mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivers abstract
