Plains is currently looking for experienced Class 1 Owner/Lease Operators to haul crude oil and LPG products with Plains supplied trailers in the following areas:
  • Alberta
  • Northeast British Columbia
  • Saskatchewan
  • Manitoba
  • Northern Ontario
We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic, and who enjoy working as part of a team in a dynamic and exciting work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Has a minimum of two (2) years related work experience;
  • Owner of a heavy spec tractor;
  • Possesses a clean drivers abstract
  • Having pro-rated authority is an asset
  • Must comply with Plains pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Policy for safety sensitive work.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years verifiable fluid tanker experience
  • Off-road experience an asset
  • No tractor age restriction
  • Tractor must weigh less 9,000 kg
  • Sleeper tractor required
  • Wet Kit required
  • Auto Shut Down required
  • Minimum 4” T&E, roper-style pump required
  • OO maintained base plates and licensing
  • OO maintained insurance
  • Past seven (7) years without:
    • Without a driving violation involving consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
    • A preventable rollover or fatality crash
  • Past three (3) years without:
    • License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
    • A major preventable accident
    • Two (2) or more moving convictions
