Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment company, is currently looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of Service Writer - based out of our Head Office in Langley BC.

Job Summary

Rollins is currently looking for a Service Writer to assist with an active service shop consisting of Heavy-Duty mechanics. Working closely with the Service Manager, the Service Writer will assist with the day-to-day Service Department operations;

· Coordinating the completion of service Work Orders through dispatch of service technicians

· Scheduling jobs and organizing technician’s workload

· Service job estimate building and invoicing

· Complete warranty documentation and submission in an accurate and timely manner, following up on payments.

· Reconcile all warranty AR

· Follow dispute/challenge process for short paid warranty (solicit support from Service Supervisor & Manager)

· Ensure monthly invoices are closed

· Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· Positive and professional communication with customers and team members

· Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude, with good interpersonal skills

· Excellent general computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Superb customer service skills and strong organizational skills

· Ability to work in a close team environment

Experience is a definite asset but we are willing to train the right candidate.
