TalentWorld is seeking a professional Senior Operations Manager for our client located in Bradford.
The focus for this role is to develop an Operational Excellence program that will drive the Continuous Improvement culture focusing on process optimization, waste elimination and capability building.
Senior Operational Manager Responsibilities
Develop and support the operational excellence program in creating KPI's, measuring and tracking goals- Create tools to be implemented to support goals
- Train, Coach and Mentor the team
- Design Value Stream Mapping, write SOP's
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
- Facilitate and Design Process and Kaizens activities, Lean Training, Loss Analysis and more
Senior Operational Manager Qualifications
5-7 years of experience leading in a Manufacturing environment- Experience participating in an operational excellence program (Continuous Improvement/Lean/Six Sigma) in a Manufacturing environment is an asset
- Green Belt certification prefer. Black Belt an asset.
- Project management experience an asset
- University Degree is an Engineering or Science
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint), proficient in data visualization software (Tableau, Minitab, JMP)
