Registered Optician Job at iOptic Eyewear Centre
iOptic is Thunder Bay's fastest growing LOCAL retail optical dispensary. We currently have 3 full-time staff members and are looking to add another Licensed Optician to our team!
We operate a fun, non-corporate, stress free, fast paced, casual working environment. We are very personable, outgoing and customer service is always #1.
Qualifications:
- Must currently be registered and in good standing with the College of Optician's of Ontario.
- Previous experience in Retail Optical/Dispensary a must.
- Edging/Lab Experience is an Asset.
- Accurately measure, dispense and adjust eyewear.
- Accurately order, recommend, and suggest appropriated frame and lens solutions to meet customer needs.
- Take part in other store duties such as inventory, set-up, keeping the work area organized and tidy.
- Must be willing to look forward to coming to work, having fun, and delivering the best customer service experience in Northwestern Ontario!
Requirements:
- Must be able to work Full-Time.
- Must be registered with the College of Opticians of Ontario.
- Previous experience definitely an asset.
- Must be attentive to fine detail, be organized, and willing to learn.
- Must be kind, courteous, and offer our clients a very customer service orientated and personable experience.
- Must be invested in our industry, business and promote our brand.
- Must be willing to work weekends. (Saturdays for sure)
- Must speak, read, and write fluent english.
Wages, Hours & Benefits to be negotiated.
