Description:

Coastal Countertops & Cabinets has an immediate opening on its team for an experienced and reliable CNC Operator/Programmer. We take pride in creating a collaborative and respectful environment where we can excel at providing excellent customer service and quality. We are looking for someone with at least 1-year experience in CNC operation and programming for quartz and granite countertops. We offer competitive wages based on experience, benefits after 3 month of employment, and overtime where needed.

Responsibilities

· CNC programming using AlphaCam

· CNC operation

· Working with DXF files from a digital templater

· Provide cut sheets for the bridge saw operator

· Maintain accurate job labour reporting

· Maintain, repair, and calibrate CNC & tooling

· Maintain inspection records and compete inspection and maintenance reports

· Provide feedback to other team members regarding process improvements

Requirements:

· Minimum 1 year CNC operation and programming experience

· Strong proven knowledge of CNC maintenance

· Blueprint/CAD drawing reading and interpretation

· Minimum 1 years quartz and granite experience

· Digital templating, especially with a Prodim Templater, is a definite asset

· Strong mechanical, mathematical and computer skills

· Self-starter with the ability and desire to learn

· High level of organization

· Excellent problem solving and communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of team

· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
