Job Description

Reporting to the Vancouver Island District Manager in a medium-sized office, you
will be responsible for a variety of duties in our Parksville branch. This is a role
with a hand in many aspects of our business that evolves to meet the
requirements of a quickly growing Vancouver Island branch. Among other things,

your responsibilities will grow to include:
Proceed to warehouse tasks, such as ship, receive and pick orders and apply
materials to jobs, while maintaining minimum stock levels, supervise
preparation, count, and reconciliation of once-a-year inventory count,
warehouse organization throughout the year, processing of material returns
from projects;
Obtain and compare supplier quotes, order entry, tracking, and finalizing.
Coordination of subcontractors, equipment rentals, billing of fire alarm /
marine jobs and small sprinkler Tis;
Do payroll entry and review of road supervisor and marine team
Gather all information and set up in our system, send WCB, insurance, and
other requirements to customer;
Review and digitize inspection reports for our marine inspection reports.
Requirements

detail and the ability to prioritize tasks are necessities. Main qualifications we

are looking for are:
Post-secondary education in business or administration OR high school diploma
and equivalent related experience,
Minimum one year relevant experience (construction experience is an asset),
Strong computer skills and very good knowledge of Windows software (Word,
Excel, Outlook, etc.),
Excellent abilities in being proactive, team work, and communication,
Autonomy and strong organization skills.
