The Role

Our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener location is looking for a Production Control to join the Shipping & Receiving Team. Reporting to the Assistant Materials Manager, you will be primarily responsible for:
  • Ensure that all inventory counts of all Finished Goods are performed each morning.
  • Enter daily inventory counts into production spread sheet each morning.
  • Adjust inventory records noted from the daily inventory count at month end, into the ERP system
  • Ensure that all service part orders are picked, labeled, and staged, one week in advance of the ship date.
  • Ensure that all partial boxes remaining after picking and staging service part orders are identified, moved and, stored in such a way as to prevent product damage or deterioration.
  • Communicate all service part shortages noted when staging, to the Production Manager, Production Scheduler and Customer Service to ensure that parts are made available prior to the required ship date.
  • Advise the quality auditors and Quality Assurance when all service orders are complete.
  • Perform other related duties as instructed by management.
Minimum Requirements & Required Skills
  • Secondary school diploma
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Self-driven & excellent time management skills
  • Excellent math skills
