Typical Day:

• Read reports
• Connect on manufacturing issues and root cause
• Quality Issues resulting in scrap
• Equipment maintenance
• Machine repair
• Continuous improvement projects
• Reading drawings, designs, looking at existing equipment, make recommendations for machine upgrades

Very fluid days, prioritizing the workload based on what is critical to get machines functioning and continuous improvement.

Mechanical Experience in order to understand the designs and machinery, working with the team to optimize, upgrade, change throughputs, outputs.

Must-have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Equipment Manufacturing
• Shop Assembly, Installation, Commissioning, and Testing
• Design and implementation of automation processes
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering
• Solidworks
• Lean Equipment and Lean Processes: APQP, PPAP, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), 5 Why's, 6 Sigma Black Belt, Kaizen Systems
