Role and objectives:
Kalesnikoff is seeking a responsible and reliable Part-Time Office Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our office spaces. This position will be responsible for weekday/evening cleaning of office areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and meeting rooms. You will work independently with minimal supervision and have a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness. You are physically able to perform a variety of tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending. You are reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings. Experience in custodial or janitorial work is considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
Following all Safe Work Practices & Procedures
Driving safely to each working facility (and around the sites themselves)
Cleaning breakrooms, bathrooms, offices, boardrooms, etc.
Emptying recycling and garbage
Restocking supplies in bathrooms, lunchrooms, etc.
Restocking janitorial supplies and taking note of any shortages for re-order
Cleaning windows, lights, shelves, mopping floors, etc.
Requirements:
Self-motivated
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work well alone
Ability to work safely in an industrial site
Ability to work weekday evenings 5pm till 9pm (4 evenings per week)
Must be able to be on feet and moving for a 4-hour shift, 16 hours per week
Driver’s license, with a clean driving abstract (as driving to and from each site will be a part of your role)
Clean criminal record
