What are the details?

• MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
• Day Shift - 7:00AM to 3:00PM
• Afternoon Shift - 3:00PM to 11:00PM
• Monday to Friday

What does the job entail?
Set-up of all Required Machines/Packaging

• Set up pots on presses for packaging department
• Set up automatic packaging machinery in both sealants and coatings
• Keep all follower plates and related packaging equipment clean
• Maintain pumps, take apart, clean and replace packing and seals when needed
• Replace and rebuild pneumatic cylinders
• Set up and clean all packaging equipment
• Parts cleaning
• Requisition required materials when necessary, prior to running out
• Liaise with Maintenance for assistance with difficult repairs
• Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor
• Take out all production area garbage to bin including recycling

Packaging of Sealants and Coatings

• Filling cartridges both manually and automatically, from start to finish including filling, plunger application, labelling, packaging, and palletizing
• Labelling of all materials as required by SOP and/or customer requirement
• Filling pails both manually and automatically
• Total awareness of all packaging specific requirements from labelling to boxes and all other requirements
• Perform all required quality checks
• Monitor packaging inventory and supplies and inform Supervisor of shortages
• Clean and operate all packaging printers
• Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure good work flow of product and to resolve quality issues that arise
• Completion of all required paperwork in a timely manner
• Follow schedule as set out by the supervisor
