The Job:

As an HVAC Installer with Excel Heating and Air Conditioning, you would be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Measuring refrigeration or air conditioning components for installation. Working hands on and with power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning components. It is crucial that our HVAC service technicians promotes a positive company image through consistency, quality, safety, and professionalism.

The Responsibilities:

  • Customer instruction on product care and maintenance
  • Inspect the effectiveness and safety of current customers HVAC system
  • Professionally install, maintain, and repair customers ventilation, air conditioning systems, and equipment
  • Diagnosing HVAC systems for electrical and mechanical defects
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
  • Maintaining a detailed inventory of all HVAC equipment and resources
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • Participate in all technical training
  • Must maintain company vehicle
  • Responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers; offering other company products, services
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
  • Ability to work after hours, weekends, and on public holidays, when necessary

The Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Gas Technician 3 license required. G2 preferred
  • ODP certificate
  • Valid Full G Class Driver’s License
  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts as required
  • Can lift, up to 75 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Gas 2 or 3 (preferred)
