We are looking for a Finish Carpenter with several years of Carpentry experience to join our Team. If you have experience in finish carpentry, this may be the position for you!
The Position – Finish Carpenter
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints, and communicate tasks to co-workers
- Measure, cut, and install fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, stairs, decks
- Ordering constructions materials needed for projects
- Work in both an individual and Team setting
- Always apply standard safety procedures
- Report to Project Manager daily, and provide project updates
- Maintain records of work done by Finish Carpentry team
- Stamina/strength to perform heavy lifting when required
- Train and teach co-workers and new employees finishing techniques and skills
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Carpentry experience
- Resident to Prince Edward Island and ability to work locally
- Driver’s license
- 2 references ready and available, if requested
- Effective communication
- Superior time management skills
- Strong and proven leadership abilities

Salary: $35.00 per hour
