Omineca is currently hiring a Finance Manager.
Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing all financial activity for Omineca Fabricating’s USA and Canadian holdings. This position is integral to the financial health and profitability of our company and requires the successful candidate to act in alignment with the organization’s values and strategic direction.
Main Duties
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the company’s financial operations.
Co-ordinate the company’s financial planning and budget processes.
Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers.
Assess and manage financial and operational risk.
Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.
Prepare or co-ordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other financial management reports.
Oversee accounting, payroll, and HR team and related activities.
Maintain positive relationships with business partners such as banks, external accountants, lawyers, and insurance representatives.
Work Environment
Omineca Fabricating is located in Lheidli T’enneh Territory, Prince George, BC. Our office is located next to our industrial fabrication shop along the Nechako River. As part of an active industrial workplace, our employees may be exposed to hazards not typically associated with an office environment. Omineca

Education and Experience Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.
10+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis.
5+ Years Management experience.
CPA designation would be an asset.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Etc.) and Google Suite.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Hours
Fulltime, Monday to Friday
Wage
$45-60 per hour
