  • Post secondary education from a recognized program in Office Administration, Office Management, Construction Management
  • Intermediate computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Outlook,)
  • Intermediate knowledge in Adobe Acrobat, ability to edit drawings and documents
  • Understanding of Construction methodologies and ability to read blueprints would be considered assets.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)
  • Will plan and execute 'special projects" as identified by Plant Engineering and Facilities.
  • Work with the Project and Engineering teams in organizing and updating records.
  • Consolidate sets of As-Built drawings (architectural, electrical, mechanical) for the main hospital wings.
  • General organization of all documents related to Plant Engineering and Facilities.
  • Update policies and procedures related to the Engineering and facilities Library.
  • Prepare communications and presentations as required to update the key stakeholders on the progress and status of the project.
  • Recommend areas for improvement for the Engineering Library system.
  • Source and resource equipment, parts and supplies and maintain an appropriate inventory level.
  • Prepares and edits professional documents such as letters, PowerPoint presentations, business reports, policies and procedures, employee teaching handouts, brochures, newsletters, and schedules, meeting minutes. Stores documents in secure manner.
  • Communicates verbally and electronically in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Participates on committees and task team groups as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
