Quality First Building Maintenance is expanding, and we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

We provide monthly janitorial services to businesses within the Lower Mainland. You will be responsible for the total care of existing customers in a designated area and assist the Sales Team in the development of new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, and emails.
  • Set up new accounts and prepare welcome gifts.
  • Maintain your area’s customer data base and build sustainable & strong customer relationships.
  • Assessing customer needs and implement corrective action if necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. Coordinate updates and changes to customer contracts.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Book appointments for the sales department. Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas.

Skill Set/Experience:

  • Good computer skills with Excel, Outlook, & MS Office.
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Preferable experience in a call-centre environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in team environment.
