Cook Job at Aramark Canada
Aramark Canada Ltd. is currently seeking a two Cooks to join the food service team at the Moncton International Airport!
Reporting to the Food Service Director, the Cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking and/or baking items in accordance with the menu for guests of the Airport.
Responsibilities:
- Attend daily production meetings to review menu, needs list etc.
- Prep food for production
- Produce food in accordance with menu, using ovens, fryers, grill etc.
- Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
- Record temperatures, label products in accordance with FIFO, complete waste log and cleaning log
- Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of work area
- Assists with culinary auditing, temperature checking of food items within kitchen, stations, fridge’s and freezers
- May assist front line team in serving customers from time to time
- Adhere to Aramark policies and procedures
- Additional duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years culinary and/or baking experience required
- Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
- Must be able to lift, push, pull minimum 25lbs.
This is a full time position with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour.
