Position Summary

We are currently looking for an energetic, guest focused individual who will strive to build, sustain and manage solid relationships with our VIP guests encouraging them to use their player rewards card. The Casino Host will be responsible for networking with our VIP guests (table games and slots) in conjunction with our Operations Managers to drive ultimate experiences and provide unrivaled personalized service to enhance their loyalty, while ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities

  • Greeting all guests; offering information on the facility, coat check, events & promotions and ensuring all other needs are met
  • Uses effective & efficient guest service skills and provides personalized attention to build new guest relationships
  • Greet and welcome guests
  • Recognizes frequent guests & introduces them to the Slot and Table Games Management teams
  • Communicating effectively with all operational departments
  • Hosts & provides special attention to our guests at events
  • Complying with licensing laws, health & safety other statutory regulations
  • Complying with Anti Money Laundering policy
  • Assisting Guest Services during busy times
  • Responsible for driving an increase in VIP carded play by promoting and signing up guests for our Encore Rewards and Prive programs
  • Explains the benefits and privileges of using a player’s card to VIP (Prive/Non-Prive) guests with a superior level of service excellence
  • Accurately utilizing internal comp programs when providing Food & Beverage or other offers to guests
  • Responding to, resolving or escalating issues as required;
  • Prepare and present analytic reports on promotions, events, and player trends
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications

· A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests;

· Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and Guests;

· A passion for providing Unrivaled Personalized Service to our internal and external Guests in the continual quest of achieving service excellence;

· Solid understanding of Elements Casino Surrey gaming operations including promotions, services and offerings;

· Computer literacy in MS Office;

· Minimum 2 years of experience in guest facing position;

· CMP, SDS and Casino Player Portal knowledge an asset;

· Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills;

· Maintain highest standard of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards guests, clients and other associates;

· Strict adherence to confidentiality;

· Ability to work under pressure, problem solve, and overcome resistance;

· A High School Diploma;

· Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills;

· The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).

Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required.
