Terms: Permanent, Full-time.

Location: Victoria, BC.

Salary:

• $19.50 - $38.50/hour depending on experience.

Benefits:

• Comprehensive benefits package available after 6 months. Includes dental, extended health, life insurance, long term disability and AD&D.
• Pension plan for journeyman workers after waiting period.
• Apprenticeships in Carpentry and Sheet Metal may be offered

Education:

• Journeyman Carpenter ticket or equivalent.
• Enrollment in recognized Carpentry apprenticeship an asset but not required for labourers

Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience for journeyman workers.
• For labourers, previous experience considered an asset but all skill levels will be considered

Skills and Abilities:

• Driver’s license considered an asset.
• Own tools required
• OFA Level 2 or 3 considered an asset
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rot repair, deck framing, window finishes, minor form work in residential and commercial settings, general carpentry, steel stud framing
• Other duties as required.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
