Assistant Produce Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Produce Manager with the daily operation of the Produce/Confectionery Department
- Assist with building of floor displays and merchandising of produce, bulk foods and
- Develop and create new recipes for Confectionery Department
- Ensure quality standards are meet
- Monitor inventory and order as required
- Review incoming orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and correct pricing
- Follow and enforce standards regarding Safe Food Handling
- Train staff and provide ongoing coaching
- Answer Customer questions and ensure Customers leave satisfied
- Maintain department cleanliness
Qualifications:
- Excellent Customer Service
- Willing to learn
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Available to work varying shifts
- Team player
