Our client in Cambridge is hiring for Hydraulic Assemblers for a PERMANENT role.

JOB DUTIES:

• Read and interpret hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical schematics
• Assemble and install hydraulic/pneumatic hoses, controls and valves
• Complete hydraulic plumbing and electrical wiring throughout truck body
• Installation of hydraulic/electrical cranes, air compressors, welding machines, generators and various electrical instruments
• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues
• Completing work orders from start to finish with minimal supervision. Working independently and as part of a team

SHIFT:

Straight days

• Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4:30pm
• Friday: 7am to 12 noon

WAGE:

Starting wage $26.67

• Class 3: $26.67 (starting wage)
• Class 2: $28.11
• Class 1: $29.87

Each class has a list of skills that must be learned and applied before moving to the next class/wage.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Well organized, different departmental areas. 2 building side by side. Process starts off in smaller building, petal is cut using laser and formed in brake press, then moves to Welding/fabricating department, to paint department, to assembly/installation department, then done
• Welding department is hot in the summer, big bay doors open for breeze.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) 2-3 years working with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical assemblies/installations

2) must have your own tools
