Workshop Labourer/Wood Worker Job at Local Staffing
We are looking to find responsible, hard workers to work at our client's Cabinetry manufacturing company in the warehouse.
This position is from Monday - Thursday from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm and Friday's from 6:30 am - 11:00 am. The position pays 18$-23$ an hour depending on experience. This client is in the South end and is not bus accessible so a reliable vehicle is required for this position.
In this job, you will:
- Take care of keeping a tidy workshop
- Have experience in sanding wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish
- Design, construct, refinish and repair
- Build and create cabinets using tools
- Help load/unload deliveries
- Be a driver helper and assist deliveries
- Experience in operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut is an asset.
In this job, you must:
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Have a reliable vehicle
- Own a pair of CSA- Approved Steel Toed Boots
- Be a team player
- Pay great attention to detail
