Shift Times for Welder:

Responsibilities for Welder:
- Responsible for fitting and welding of steel parts using a MIG process.
- Read complete fabrication drawings and assemble pieces of metal/steel, jigs, fixtures, and frames.
- Set up welding machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings and take or read measurements.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.RR
- Produce parts and assemble products in accordance with production standards.
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered for each piece of equipment, PPE in place
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company values and policies.
Requirements for Welder:
- Professional Certification (CWB welding certificate), or 1+ years of welding jigs, fitters and frames experience
- Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
- Decision making skills and multi-tasking skills.
- Have a considerable knowledge & experience in metal shaping equipment & various hand tools.
- Physically demanding; requires lifting capability of up to 50 lbs.
- Expertise in handling welding robots will be a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.
Pay Rate for Welder:
- $20.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on skills.
