We are seeking applications from an experienced Warehouse Clerk to assist with managing supplies and ordering for an underground mine development project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage mine consumables and stock via regular stocktakes
• Attend Pre-Shift Meetings each shift
• Liaise with client, suppliers, transport companies and other stakeholders to ensure adequate stock is available on site
• Reconcile load/delivery paperwork with received or dispatched goods
• Organize storage areas to easily find items
• Track monthly usages in order to accurately forecast usages to suppliers
• Manually and mechanically assist with daily loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
• Use flatbed truck, integrated tool carrier (IT) or other supplied vehicle to transport goods and materials from the surface store area to the designated areas underground
• Accurately document Dangerous Goods to ensure compliance with current DG legislation
• Weekly Explosives Magazine stocktakes ensuring counts are correct
• Issuing PPE and mining consumables as required
• Data entry into Pronto

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse/inventory management
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with Pronto preferable
• Solid work ethic, regular attendance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety
• Dedication to quality and high housekeeping standards
• Valid Canadian Drivers License
• Willingness to work in a cross-cultural team
• Ontario Forklift Ticket (preferable) and willing to be trained on the IT (Interchangeable Tool Carrier)
