WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

We’re seeking a qualified warehouse associate to help in providing support our team at Acorn Stairlifts to help in providing general assistance in the Warehouse.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Required to cut and ship rails
• Assist in performing inventory stock counts
• Unloading inbound shipments and containers
• Schedule and load outbound shipments with carriers
• Ensures product is stored in the appropriate locations
• Housekeeping to ensure a tidy and organized warehouse
• Other duties as assigned/required by the warehouse supervisor

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• An outstanding personality and positive attitude
• Ability to follow guidelines and strong attention to detail
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Strong Interpersonal Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent skills and knowledge
• 2-3 years previous warehouse and shipping experience
• Experience with the assistance of inventory stock counts
• Experience using hand tools, drills, saws
• 2+ years related experience in a fast-paced environment
• Computer Literacy including Word, Excel and business systems software
• Knowledge of mechanical device/applications and Stairlift/lift technology an asset
• Forklift Certification is an asset
• Ability to lift/carry 80-100lbs
