We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individuals to join a progressive non-profit organization as a Visitation Coordinator in a temporary part-time positions working in Holly Park House, Surrey.*

The ideal applicant shall possess:

  • Assist the site supervisor to implement, coordinate, and oversee a welcoming, safe, and efficient visitation schedule for the individuals within the residence/facility
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate visitations into each individual’s program plan
  • Responsible for staying updated on each person’s individual visitation needs and preferences and ensuring compliance with all internal and external standards and requirements for visits
  • Assist each individual to pursue and maintain health, wellness, and social goals through the visits
  • Provide support before, during, and after visits as requested and necessary through the use of planning and organization skills
  • Assist to maintain a clean and tidy environment through enhanced cleaning and sanitation schedule and procedures
  • Maintain documentation and reports as applicable
  • Oversee special and ad hoc projects as assigned

Additional Requirements:

  • Diploma in human / social services field from a recognized accredited institution
  • Minimum one (1) years’ recent related experience supporting individuals with various abilities
  • Emergency First Aid
  • CPR Level C
  • Mandt Certification
  • Criminal Record Clearance from Ministry
  • TB Clearance
  • Mobile phone with local number for contact
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • COVID-19 Vaccination

Job Type: Part-time (Temporary)

Compensation: **starting at $21.63 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 16hrs/week
