Job Summary

Huntsville Animal Hospital is looking for a passionate, self motivated, hardworking and reliable Veterinary Technician in a full/part time basis. We are an AAHA accredited, companion hospital.
Our priority is providing patients and clients with exceptional, quality serivce, using on the highest caliber of medication and technology.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Completed a Veterinary Technician Program with eligibility for Registration
2. Worked in a vet clinic for 1 year( new grad applications welcome)
3. Knowledge& experience of patient assessment, physical examinations, venipuncture,pharmacy,anesthesia monitoring,emergency procedures, radiology, catheter placement, laboratory
4. Surgical preparation, assistance and recovery
5.AVImark POS software ( not a prerequisite)
6. Ability to manage detailed laboratory and patient records
7.Ability to work under stressful pressure and manage multiple priorities at a time
8.Ability to problem-solve and provide clarifying answers to questions
9.Ability to work in a team setting and independently
10.Compassionate and love towards animals and their pet parents
11.Passion to grow in the role and continue to learn
