Truck Driver – (Richmond, BC)

Reporting to the Operations Manager or designate, the Truck Driver’s duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Deliver a high quality customer experience along with our high quality foods and products
  • Take care of your truck and equipment to keep it safe and serviceable
  • Report any problems with equipment if faulty
  • Load product on skids according to route
  • Make sure total numbers of invoice match the number marked on route sheet for customers before leaving our facility
  • Put any top up product to finish the load before leaving
  • Make your deliveries in a safe and efficient time frame
  • Make sure all product is accounted for while making a delivery
  • Make sure all relevant information is filled out on credit notes
  • Make sure all C.O.D are properly received recorded and handed in
  • Bring any returns to the assigned areas in warehouse when returning to plant
  • Drivers must do a post trip inspection and report when returning at days end
  • Keep your truck clean and neat

Qualifications

  • Be enthusiastic about customer service and interacting with our clients
  • Be passionate about driving
  • Be physically fit to be able lift products up to 25KG+
  • Class 5 driver’s license or higher required
  • Must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures
  • Experience driving a delivery vehicle preferred, but training will be provided
