Travel Advisor - International Rate Specialist

Location: Office based, with potential for some remote work

Office: Toronto, ON

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM and/or 10AM-6PM

We're looking to hire an International Air Specialist to join our Toronto, ON team. This position is responsible for making reservations for corporate clients in accordance with their travel policy, covering all aspects of business travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customized service to a variety of high expectation clients
• Process voids, refunds, exchanges and other items on the Sabre Reservations System
• Respond in a timely manner to all emails, voicemails and requests.
• Build and update PNRs, taking responsibility for their bookings and ticketing deadlines
• Stay fully informed of all airline rules, regulations and other industry requirements. Utilize this information when making travel arrangements
• Keep Manager promptly and fully informed of all matters of significance
• Utilize preferred vendors to reduce client costs and maximize on revenue opportunities
• Suggest improvements to benefit the client and the company
• Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience with GDS systems
• Sabre, Apollo and/or Amadeus GDS system experience is required
• Knowledge of international fair structures and pricing is required
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities to ensure customer satisfaction levels are achieved
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Analytical, resourceful, flexible and a team player
• Experience with Amadeus is an asset
