Tool & Die Maker (Mould Maker) Job at CpK Interior Products
The Mouldmaker will
· Conduct repairs, maintain & modify injection-molding dies, end of arm fixtures, and related tooling.
· Will also aid in diagnosing and correcting poor die performance in press.
· Construct, modify & assemble mechanical devices and/or components from detailed drawings and/or instructions.
· Repair or modify defective molds; and assisting Production Engineering in designated areas.
· Weld on tool surfaces and be able to perform spot welding on tools.
Basic Qualifications:
· Certified Journeyman with tool & die experience
· Licensed mould maker trade certificate would be a preference
· Minimum 5 years related experience (using hand tools, spotting, polishing, micrometer, calipers)
· Experience of mold disassembly inspections and reassembly
· Ability to read 2D & 3D drawings
· Tig Welding
· Forklift and Crane certified and/or willing to train
· Experience in a Unionized environment is preferred
· Willing to work afternoon or night shifts, if required
· Be eligible to work in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $34.46 per hour
