Our client, a leader in logistics services, is looking for a Terminal Operations Manager to join their growing team in Vaudreuil.

Description

• Monitoring and controlling costs and productivity through daily AAR meetings
• Review equipment requirements and rail plans to approve planning for next day
• Oversee all administrative functions are exact and timely, review KPIs
• Identify and highlight issue areas leading to further investigation and action plans
• Report daily to director on the daily productivity and service of each operations group
• Manage rates, load factor and revenue analysis
• Review weekly 725 reports for all LTL originating out of terminal
• Review annual budget development
• Develop a financial budget, setting productivity goals
• Manage invoice payments
• Verify performance and service numbers of staff and perform Performance Improvement Plans where necessary
• Follow procedures and company policies to maintain highest safety and quality standards and policies

Skills

• Strong in forecast planning and result oriented tracking
• Ability to prioritize activities to have largest impact
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual: Strong written and verbal English and French
• Computer proficiency in a variety of software applications, such as MS Office, Proprietary engine and component software programs, etc

Experience and Education:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in a Management position
• Experience in the Transportation Industry
• Experience with working in a team environment and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and time management.

Salary: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
