We are looking for a Technical Manager, to be influential in the day-to-day operations of our development teams here at Redding Designs. This position will be an "In Office" position, working in our London, Ontario office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day tasks of our development team
• Work closely with other managers to ensure projects are delivered complete, and on time
• Work closely with clients to gain understanding for their development needs and oversee the completion of those tasks
• Drive continual improvements in the delivery process and overall product quality
• Mentor the professional development of each team member
• Help the team understand overall project objectives and how their individual actions contribute to those goals.
• Assist with resolving complex technical issues Act quickly and appropriately to solve problems, bring clarity, and minimize the impact of unforeseen circumstances
• Assist in the gathering of project requirements and estimates

What we are looking for:

• 2-3 years of revelvant professional experience
• Web development knowledge and understanding of written code (HTML/CSS/WordPress)
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Comfortable leading meetings and presenting in front of groups of colleagues or clients.
• Super organizational skills as you will be handling mutliple projects, clients, etc..
• Strong problem-solving skills – ability to evaluate and solve complex problems in conventional and non-conventional ways.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while successfully supporting multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Experience guiding teams through the full software development life cycle.
• Ability to build strong bonds with employees to foster open, honest and candid communication
• A reliable vehicle to work in the London, Ontario office, as well as attend manager meetings in the Aylmer, Ontario office, and occasionally off-site meetings with clients
• Prior experience in a Lead Developer role providing technical guidance to teams of full stack developers is an asset
• Knowledge of hosting platforms (Digital Ocean), Git/GitHub, and other technical internet services for launching and deploying projects.
